we've been busy getting settled into our new place and enjoying the summertime

having some watermelon after saving the day (yes, Sam is wearing a cape)...this is the walkway from the driveway to our basement
do you think Grandma would be proud of my muddy gardening gloves? it took me 3 days, but the garden is planted and weeded

Love them! She would be proud. Like we said today, wish we had paid more attention to things we could have learned from her. Miss her in the garden, the dogwood tree she gave me when I bought my house is huge this year! So I know she's watching over my garden (and me).
It looks like you make work fun at your house! I'm so glad you're enjoying your yard.
